Venue and Seating Information
Vanderbilt University Memorial Gymnasium is a historic campus arena with a distinctive court-level layout: seating surrounds the playing floor, creating a close-up perspective on the action. Its compact atmosphere can make the game feel immediate, with crowd energy carrying across the gym during key possessions.
Seating preference depends on whether you value a broad view or proximity to the court. Seats centered along the sidelines generally provide a balanced look at both ends of the floor, while locations closer to the baseline offer a more direct view of scoring plays at that basket. Check the event seating map when selecting tickets, as available sections and sightlines may vary.
Parking Information
Parking availability and rules around Vanderbilt's campus can vary by event, so review current guidance before driving. Potential options include:
- Official university parking facilities designated for event visitors, subject to availability and posted restrictions.
- Nearby public garages or paid lots in the surrounding Nashville area; check their event-day rates and walking distance in advance.
- Rideshare or public transportation, which may help avoid campus traffic and limited event parking.
Allow extra time for arrival and follow event-day signs and staff instructions. Do not assume a nearby campus space is available to visitors, and verify parking access and pricing directly with the operator before setting out.
